The San Diego County Equestrian Foundation (SDCEF) is proud to announce its first fundraiser to be held at Hunter Equestrian Center, 1009 Country Club Drive in Escondido. Whether you have a horse, want to own a horse, or just want to spend the day outside on a real Equestrian Center then this event is for you! We invite you to come out and learn about horses, horse-keeping, and the rural lifestyle! Bring the kids! This is a fun, interactive event for friends and families. There will be demonstrations of many kinds of riding and show disciplines, as well as, exhibits featuring veterinarians, horse shoers, calf roping (pretend calf), education booths, Future Farmers of America is bringing out a petting zoo, and we will even have pony rides too!!! Additionally, there will be a Jumpie for the younger kids and a beer garden for the adults. 4-H and FFA groups are encouraged to attend and participate. The event will hold a Silent Auction with special trips, services and other great items.
Also there is an ongoing raffle for a mint condition 2008 Kabota Tractor Model Grand L3540! We’re only selling 300 tickets for this raffle, so your chances of winning are phenomenal at $150 for one and $650 for five tickets. For those who do not want a tractor, we are offering a cash prize of $10,000!
The SDCEF, a non-profit 501(c) (3), is dedicated to developing equestrian-friendly ordinances by working with the County of San Diego to update the County’s General Plan, promoting best practices management among the equestrian community, and educating the community in general about equestrians and the important place horses have in our current economy and society through avenues such as the Horse Expo and Fall Festival!
